I was first introduced to functional fitness in the form of CrossFit in January 2014 and in no time at all it changed my whole outlook on fitness. Going to the gym, training & eating healthy all became something I wanted to do – rather than something that I should do! Over the following years regular & structured training has given me strength far beyond the physical.

Like most people, my fitness journey has not been all sunshine & rainbows; injuries, disenchantment, lack of discipline & visible progress have made many appearances. However, one thing I’ve never lost is the appreciation in how fitness can enhance individuals & communities. This ranges from individuals embarking on life-changing physical & emotional transformations to equally incredible athletes pushing the envelopment of human ability at the top level of competitive fitness.

The benefits of a lifestyle incorporating functional fitness are not limited to gym or to elite athletes. I want share my passion with you and celebrate human achievement great & small.
